AOL Fall Beauty Awards

I'm THRILLED to announce that I'm a 2015 fall beauty judge for AOL! I tried over 20+ skincare products, and I'll be telling you guys all about the best of the best in today's post.
1.  Bliss Micro Magic ($48) - Micro Magic is, hands down, the most incredible at-home microdermabrasion treatment I've ever tried.  Formulated with fine volcanic pumice, vitamin E, and soothing aloe, this product exfoliates like no other.  I promise that you'll see AND feel a difference after one wash!  $48 may seem pricy but this item's worth every penny!  Use it twice a week after cleansing for max results.

2.  C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve ($5.50) - If you have dry lips, this item is a must-have.  It's emulsified with rose extract, which conditions and helps ease irritation.  As a plus, it smells like heaven and gives you a light pink tint.  I like to apply a thin layer before bed to keep my pucker moisturized.

3.  Artistry Youth Xtend Enriching Cream ($79.30) - Artistry may just be my new fave skincare line. This cream is unreal because it works overnight to "reprogram" your skin - it repairs existing damage, while improving smoothness and radiance.  Made of life-extending mediterranean botanical, this cream encourages skin's natural youth protein production.  FYI, it's currently on sale at Amazon for $79.30 (it's originally $169.95).  Purchase this STAT before it sells out.  I promise you'll thank me when your skin's softer than a baby's bottom, ha.  In my humble opinion, this cream's better than La Mer's famous moisturizing soft cream.

4.  First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads ($15 for 30, $30 for 60) - I don't know about you guys, but toner's a must for my daily skincare routine.  I usually use liquid toner, but I like these because they tone and exfoliate!  Ingredients include cucumber, indian gooseberry, lemon peel, and licorice root. Note: these pads are perfect for sensitive skin because they're free of harsh chemicals and colorants.

5.  Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser ($36) - I know I listed Bliss' exfoliating treatment above, but this cleanser's different because it's gentle enough for daily use.  Murad recommends using it 2-3 times a week, but IMO as long as you're not rubbing furiously, you can use it everyday.  It's made of three exfoliating agents - salicylic acid, lactic acid, and glycolic acid -  and Jojoba skin-polishing beads. The aforementioned ingredients loosen dulling buildup and polish excess debris.

6.  Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil ($48) - This product is everything.  It's seriously the best argan oil I've ever used.  Grown organically in Morocco, this formula contains healing, conditioning, and anti-aging properties.  I apply this on my face (over my moisturizing cream) 1-2x a week and on the ends of my wet hair daily.

7.  Erno Laszlo Phormula 3-9 ($255) - Man, Erno Laszlo knows good skincare.  This incredible cream will seriously impress - this is luxury at its finest. Rich, tropical tamanu oil boosts skin health and promotes rapid healing, while dromiceius oil restores the skin's moisture barrier and stimulates cell renewal.  Note: this product apparently smoothes scars, wounds, and burns (in addition to dry skin) - I can't really comment because I don't have any notable marks.

Have you guys tried any of these? What beauty products are you loving lately?

Luxe | Blvd

I can't wait to tell you guys all about today's OOTD!  I've partnered up with Luxe | Blvd on Sensible Stylista to feature a fun, trendy look for y'all.  For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, let me give you some background.  LB's a specialty boutique who's mission is to celebrate and unify women's fashion by promoting confidence, innovation, and essence in all sizes!  They carry fashion-forward trends (sizes 2-24) that cater to the wants and needs of all. Lucky for you guys, they're currently offering an awesome promo - when you share your checkout cart items on FB or twitter, you get an extra 20% off (!!!!!) Also - not that you need any more incentive - they offer free priority shipping on all US orders.
Onto today's ensemble.  I centered my look around my new infiniti cardi - available here for $34.99. This top is a serious must-have IMHO!  I literally got this in the mail a couple weeks ago, and I've already worn it out several times.  What can I say? I'm a sucker for unique designs! Anywho, since it's still fairly warm out, I paired my new top with a high-waisted skirt to create a makeshift dress. However, this top would look absolutely amazing dressed down with jeans.  The knit's loose so it's super comfortable to wear.  Also, for those of you wondering, I'm wearing a size small.
I accessorized with a fun clutch to spice things up!  This fabulous bag is available here in three other color combinations: yellow/black, blue/black, and coral/black.
A close-up shot of my heels (available here for $29.99) - yeah, I'm feeling pretty good about my shoe game today!  They're the perfect mix of sporty and chic, and they go with everything because they're nude.  They're also easy to wear because of their velcro straps - I'm just going to be real and admit that shoe clasps piss me off sometimes, ha.  FYI, these babies fit true to size!  Oh, and on another note, Luxe | Blvd's currently having a $29.99 shoe sale on their facebook page.  You can (very conveniently) shop their store HERE on FB under the "Shop Now" tab.

Funky Pants

Alright everyone, it's time for my weekly office-friendly look!  I centered today's OOTD around my BCBG pants.  I bought these way back in the day, but they sat in the back of my closet because I didn't have the confidence to wear them out.  While I was going through my closet and figuring out what to keep, sell, and donate, I finally decided that it was time to man up!
I decided to stick with a neutral color scheme for today's look.  I styled my high-waisted bottoms with a ruffled tank and a chic blazer for a polished, sophisticated vibe.  Since I don't have product links for you guys, here are other adorable options for y'all:
My top sans jacket.  I bought this tank at H&M a while back for $10.  I absolutely love their sales, but shopping their online store can be a pain since they don't accept returns in stores - hopefully they'll change their policy soon! Do you guys shop online often? If so, at what stores?
A close-up of my jewelry courtesy of Satya.  These gorgeous earrings have a subtle sun motif inside and are plated with 24 kt gold.  The owner, Satya Scainetti, is a philanthropist, yoga teacher, and Reiki healer who believes in giving back to the world community.  Satya (translates to "truth" in Sanskrit) has developed a devoted following all over the world.  Make sure you guys check out her unique designs HERE.
